Reactivate an Existing CAGE Code
To reactivate a CAGE code, you must have a user name and password in SAM and be authorized to have edit your company CAGE record.
- If you are the person that originally registered your company, you have a username and password in SAM.
Go to www.sam.gov and enter your credentials.
- If you are not that person, but you know who it is, it is easiest to have them use their credentials to log in and make any edits needed.
- If you do not know who has edit permissions, you need to register yourself in SAM by going to the SAM home page and clicking on the
Create User Account button on the left side of the page. Then your need to contact the SAM Federal Service Desk by phone (866-606-8220).
Once you can access your SAM record, the rest is simple. All that the reactivation process needs from you is that review and approve each section of your CAGE record.
This review and approve process will result in an automatic reactivation of your CAGE.
